Lakewood Shomrim Holds Yomim Noraim Preparation Meeting with Community Leaders and Officials

Lakewood Shomrim’s devoted Shabbos members held a preparation meeting last night to coordinate plans for the upcoming holiday patrols. These dedicated volunteers, who give of their time selflessly week after week, gathered to review safety protocols and ensure that the community will be well protected during the busy holiday season.

The meeting was attended by elected officials and respected community leaders, who expressed their appreciation for Shomrim’s vital role in safeguarding the neighborhood. A highlight of the evening was hearing from a mother of young children, who movingly shared her gratitude for the Shabbos team’s ongoing support. She noted how much peace of mind Shomrim’s presence provides, allowing families to celebrate Shabbos and Yom Tov with a greater sense of security.

Shomrim’s Shabbos division is comprised of one of the most elite teams, made up of members who undergo extensive training to handle a wide range of situations with professionalism, sensitivity, and care. Their readiness and expertise enable them to respond swiftly and effectively, ensuring the highest level of safety for the community.
